1. I think it's sick the way the agency took that dog away. The get all high and mighty over Ellen breaking the rules when they broke the rules in the first place by not having the dog fixed first, not having Ellen fill out the proper forms, or doing a background check on her, Why cus she's a celebrity. Then they have the nerve to say she should not get her way because she's famous!! This is so wrong on so many levels.

The DOG BELONGS to Ellen..........She "erred" by giving it to the hairdresser......It should have been returned to Ellen to "straighten out"......But, Ruby IS the rightful owner because Ellen made a choice to find Iggy a more suitable family. 9. Ellen is WRONG! She broke the rule. The rule is there for a reason! (And she didn't BUY the dog, she adopted it.) The dog is aparantly in a new lovinghome and Ellen should grow up and stop using her access to the media to garner support for an insupportable position. You may not agree with what Mutts and Moms did-- but they did it for a reason. They place dogs in GOOD HOMES where htey will be caredfor for the rest of their lives. They had not screened Ellen's hairdresser. Period. Ellen is simply wrong.

10. As a surprise after knee surgery, I adopted a cat for my older sister. When she took the cat to the vet and the names didn't match the agency contacted me. I explained I didn't realize there was a 'clause' in the contract. They ran a check on my sister at her vet and the agency SCOLDED me for what I did, but allowed the cat to remain with mysister and her eldery husband. Ellen and her friend got ripped.

The media refers to the hairstylist's children as small kids; looks like to me they are tweens or young teenagers, they have bonded with Iggy for two weeks; they were given the dog by Ellen as a gift and, according to Judge Judy, you do not have to return a gift - so there. Now, according to reports, Iggy has been given to a third home; makes no sense. This Mutts & Moms place needs to be investigated.

There is no other reason a retail store PAWS BOUTIQUE IN PASADENA that must be boycottedd and go out of business, would use their rescue charity free tax status ... and not do their homework and they did not ... MUTTS AND MOMS WERE UNETHICAL AND LIED FROM INCEPTION WHEN THEY TOOK ELLEN'S $600. AND NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH ON HER PAPERWORK, NOR DID THEY TRANSFER TO ELLEN, THE MICROCHIP IN HER NAME LIKE THEY PROMISED.

TO POST 16 THAT IS OBVIOUSLY SLANTED AND MAY BE PART OF THOSE CRAPPY MOMS WHO STOLE THAT PUP FROM THE LOVING FAMILY. RECOGNIZE THIS IS NOT A GOOD RESCUE GROUP BUT PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING BIG DOLLARS ON A DOG RESELLING IT OVER AND OVER TO OTHER PEOPLE.

BOYCOTT PAWS BOUTIQUE AND ALL THE STORES NEAR THEM. THEY HATE ELLEN, WELL WE WANT TO SEE THE KIND OF MUTTS AND MOM'S OUT OF BUSINESS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY .. LET THIS BE THE FIRST OF OUR CRUSADE. They say they don't like the Ellen Degeneres'es of the world.. well WE DON'T LIKE THE MUTTS AND MOMS OF THE WORLD AND THERE ARE MORE OF US TO HATE THEM.

14. I have been rescuing dogs with well respected rescues for 15 years and this is an absolutely DESPICABLE way for a rescue to behave. The nasty woman that physically took the dog away has her priorities so screwed up that it is doing irreparable damage to ALL rescues, especially hers. Now people are going to have less trust and respect for rescues.

What an idiot woman, to destroy the relationship by a warm, well loved, animal loving celebrity like Ellen. She has really cut off her own nose to spite her face by handling this so poorly. If she had quietly told Ellen that they needed to fill out some extra forms, do checks ... whatever... for the hairdresser's family to keep the dog and expedited it, the rescue could have counted on more donations and support from Ellen, which is ESSENTIAL for rescues.

I hope this doesn't go away for the rescue, until they give the dog back. If I lived near there, I would [loudly] make sure it didn't go away. (Hint, hint to any animal loving readers near the rescue!)

15. Why would Ellen make a big deal on her show about the Doggie problems?? Obviously she didn't care about the consequences. Just think!! You better be careful WHO you give your Dog to, cause the L.A. Police will be all over you!! Maybe those Doggie Adoption Idiots have a site that Identifies people as not being up to their standards.
