NFL Sportscaster's Divorce -- You Stray, You Pay

Jim NanceNFL on CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz made one really bad call -- with a 29-year-old woman -- and it set a divorce in play that will cost him nearly a million bucks a year for the rest of his life.

A Connecticut judge ordered the famous announcer to pay his ex-wife $864,000 a year in alimony -- and the only way out is death ... or if his ex-wife remarries.

The judge's decision comes in light of Nantz's admission that he began dating a 29-year-old woman before he ended his 26 year marriage. Smooth...

Nantz also has to pay $1,000 a week in child support for their 15-year-old daughter for the next two years.

Jim's wife also gets the couple's Westport mansion -- no word if he gets to keep the couch he's probably been sleeping on.

Ultimately, the judge made Jim pay so much because he's loaded.

Jamie McCourt's New Man Takes the Wheel

Jamie McCourt's new man really knows how to get her motor runnin' -- literally and figuratively -- because this weekend, she was still using Jeff Fuller to drive her around town.

Jamie & Jeff: Click to watch
We got the estranged wife of Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt leaving Philippe Chow last night with a group of her lady friends. The only guy in the picture: Fuller, who took the wheel when it was time to head out.

As TMZ previously reported, Frank fired Jamie from her job as CEO of the Dodgers after he found out about her relationship with Jeff -- citing an "inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee" ... i.e. Jeff.

Dodgers Divorce -- BF Had Legal Woes

The L.A. Dodgers divorce case between Frank and Jamie McCourt has a new plot twist. Seems Jamie's new BF had a "relationship" problem in the 90's -- as in, his pregnant wife claimed he got physical with her.

TMZ obtained a restraining order issued against Jeff Fuller, Jamie's new guy. Jeff's wife at the time -- Michelle Christine Fuller -- claimed in May 1995, when she was seven months pregnant, she called 911 after Jeff pushed her into a wall and knocked her down.

Fuller also says in December of that same year, after the baby was born, Jeff -- with whom she had already separated -- came to her home and started banging on her window, trying to force his way into the house.

She wrote in her declaration: "I am very afraid. He is becoming more and more violent, and I believe he will start to act on some of his threats."

The judge issued the restraining order on December 20, 1995.

TMZ has obtained a letter Michelle sent to Jeff today saying she doubts the legal papers -- which we obtained from microfiche at the courthouse -- are authentic: "I do not think they are authentic or at least they may have been altered."

She adds it was a difficult time in her life and she said and did "things that I later regretted." Michelle does not believe she said what was in her declaration.

Michelle adds, "[He] was not violent towards me and in fact, I can't imagine [him] being violent towards any woman."

Dodgers to McCourt Judge -- Please Butt Out!

The Los Angeles Dodgers have gone on record in the "War of the Roses" divorce between Frank and Jamie McCourt, claiming the family court should butt out of Dodger business. And, for good measure, the Dodgers claim Jamie was fired for allegedly having an affair with a subordinate ... and the team goes into detail.

frank and jamie mcourt
In legal papers filed with the family law judge, the Dodgers organization is asking to be heard as a friend of the court, opposing Jamie's bid to be reinstated as CEO of the operation.

The Dodgers organization claims, "Simply stated, this Court has no jurisdiction to order the Dodgers to do anything because it is a non-party to these proceedings."

According to the legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the Dodgers claim Jamie "has been paid her $2,000,000 a year salary in full through December 31, 2009. She was an at-will employee. The marital dissolution should not be used to interfere with the lawful control and management of the Dodgers."

And get this ... the legal papers state, "Given the dysfunction which was caused by the Petitioner's prior employment, her inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee and the clear acrimonious relationship between her and Mr. Court (sic), if she were reinstated by order of this Court it would no doubt lead to this Court being called upon to oversee the day to day management of the Dodgers."

The Dodgers allege Jamie was fired "for having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate employee, Mr. Jeff Fuller, her self-described '24 hour driver' and '24 hour security.'"

The Dodgers grouse that Jamie wants the Dodgers to reinstate her as well as Fuller -- "Translation: She wants the Dodgers to pay her live in boyfriend for his companionship" while working for the organization.

Tommy Lasorda Dragged into McCourt Divorce

Tommy Lasorda has just been injected into the nasty divorce between Los Angeles Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt -- and the baseball legend may not even know it.

Tommy Lasorda

In court papers filed today, Frank describes a conversation he had with Tommy Lasorda back in September, in which the Dodger Hall-of-Famer "surprised" Frank by asking if he was going to an event honoring Lasorda at the Smithsonian in D.C.

Frank claims he had "no knowledge" of the event -- and it was Jamie's duty to tell him about stuff like that.

Frank claims the Lasorda incident was just another example of how Jamie was keeping Dodgers management out of "the loop" -- and uses this example to justify firing her from her job as CEO of the team.

Frank McCourt -- I'm 'Sole Owner' of Dodgers

Frank McCourt says his estranged wife Jamie McCourt made her bed and doesn't want to sleep in it -- stating in court documents that she's known all along that she is not a co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Frank McCourt

In the documents, filed today by Frank's lawyers, he says he and Jamie signed a marital property agreement in 2004 that spelled out two things: all their residential real estate is her separate property -- while The McCourt Company, Inc., and the Dodgers are his separate property. Frank says Jamie proposed this deal.

In the papers Frank says he "entered into this agreement to honor the request of my wife and ensure that she would have tens of millions of dollars in assets that would be protected from the claims of my creditors."

Basically, the document claims Jamie got what she wanted, and that Frank is "registered with Major League Baseball as the sole owner" of the Dodgers.

Frank goes on to say in the court filing that Jamie wanted a new agreement that would make all their assets, including the Dodgers, community property -- but in May he told Jamie he would not sign that deal.

Spilt CelebritiesThe couple separated in July, which is when -- according to the documents -- Jamie asked Frank to move out of their Malibu home, and asked him to make Jeff Fuller "just her driver."

We're told Jamie and Jeff have been dating since the McCourts split. The Dodgers fired Jeff in mid-October.

Jamie McCourt -- 'Real' Frank Will Be Exposed

One of Jamie McCourt's lawyers has issued a stern warning to her estranged husband Frank -- if the L.A. Dodgers owner doesn't play ball, "a lot will come out about the kind of person Frank McCourt is."

Jamie McCourt

The lawyer, legendary Bert Fields, tells TMZ Frank and Jamie were in the middle of a "happy marriage" in 2004, when Jamie agreed to sign the Marital Property Agreements that Frank presented to her. Those agreements directly addressed ownership of the Dodgers, among other valuable assets.

Fields also tells us that while Frank now claims those Marital Property Agreements gave Frank sole ownership of the Dodgers, Jamie has an "unimpeachable witness" who will attest to the fact that Frank has repeatedly acknowledged Jamie's community property ownership of the team.

FYI -- Fields joins a legal team consisting of family law attorney Dennis Wasser, who has repped stars like Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg.

This is only day one of the official divorce battle ... it's gonna be one hell of a fight.

Jamie McCourt -- I'm Not Giving Up the Dodgers

In Jamie McCourt's divorce documents filed against her husband Frank, she is challenging Frank's statement that he is the sole owner of the Dodgers -- claiming she's been bamboozled.

Jamie McCourt

In the docs, Jamie says they faced a "myriad of creditors" and for that reason certain assets were held solely by Frank -- notably the Dodgers.

Jamie says when she signed the agreements giving away her rights to the Dodgers, she was not represented by legal counsel. Jamie demands that the court declare "that any purported capital Marital Property Agreements are null, void, and unenforceable."

Furthermore, Jamie says the homes she and Frank had were held by her solely -- not as community property.

In the docs, Jamie also adds, "Frank and I always considered the real estate to be our property -- just like the Dodgers."

Romance in McCourt Divorce

BTW, Fuller's late mom was an heir to the Pillsbury fortune ... translation, he's loaded.

As for Frank ... he was lunching yesterday with some dude at Hotel Montage.
